English Football 2008-09

In the fall of 2008 our family moved to London, England for work.  Though only 16, Isaiah joined a men's league playing for South Ealing & Brentford F.C.,  from which he sought youth trials among clubs whose seasons had already started, including youth squads (non-professional) for 3 professional teams:
After weeks at each club, Isaiah signed for Kew Association F.C. playing in the u-17 Surrey County Premier League where he was able to start regularly.

During the 2008-09 year:
  • earned English Football Association Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football (CCF)
  • served for "Kick Brentford" community coaching
  • served for Hounslow Burough Youth Games community sports volunteer
The experience in the UK, including visiting Wembley, Stamford Bridge, Emirates, Loftus Road., Griffin Park, etc., deeply enriched Isaiah's appreciation of the sport.  Personally his tactical awareness and physical nature of play was also strengthened by his time in England.
